Application Procedure
 
 
 
1. Complete the LBCC Application for Admission
  • Online at: www.lbcc.edu
  • Paper version available in Schedule of Classes
  • Receive an LBCC Student I. D. number
2. Apply for Financial Aid
  • BOG Fee Waiver Application on pages 17-18 of Schedule of Classes
    or
  • Print and use the PDF version of BOG Fee Waiver
  • Free online application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Paper version available in Financial Aid Office
3. Make an appointment for the Assessment test
  • Online with your student I. D. number at:
    http://matric.lbcc.edu/register/index.asp
  • Or
  • Call (562) 938-4670 Liberal Arts Campus
    (562) 938-3920 Pacific Coast Campus
    Or
  • In person at Student Success/Transfer Center on either campus.
4. Complete EOPS Application
Once Financial Aid has determined you are income eligible you will be invited to apply. A student will be considered for EOPS if the following criteria are met:
  • Be a California resident
  • Completed less than 56 units (remedial coursework not included)
  • Enrolled in 12+ units at LBCC (9.0 to 11.5 units allowed with an approved ¾ Time Waiver)
  • Deemed educationally disadvantaged (determined by completing an EOPS application)
  • Once eligible for EOPS you will be invited to attend a New Student Orientation
